Attention Computer Science and Programming Students!
Fatica Consulting has an immediate opening for a junior programmer. This is an entry-level programming position for a student who intends to pursue a career in developing Web-enabled software using all types of technologies. Fatica Consulting specializes in Web-based software development using the following tools and platforms:
- PHP & MySQL
- Macromedia Dreamweaver
- Visual Studio
- .NET (ASP and VB)
This entry level position will come with on-the-job training. Mike Fatica, the lead software engineer, will coach the appropriate candidate towards proficiency in the above technologies. Basic experience with PHP and MySQL is required. Some experience with .NET is a plus, but not required. Above all, a passion for computers, technology and especially programming is the #1 requirement.
Fatica Consulting provides software development services to IT companies and end users. Mike works primarily from his home office, so most training and orientation sessions will be held there; however, work can be done from your home, school or whatever is convenient.

This is a contract position with approximately 20 hours per week, with no guaranteed minimum – i.e. if we’re not busy, you’re not busy. Pay is 15/hour for the first six weeks. An evaluation with a possible raise is conducted after that probationary period.
